No. All products sold by Ascend Labs are intended for laboratory research purposes only, and are not for human or animal consumption. The products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. The products should not be used as a food, drug, cosmetic, or other household use.
We verify every batch of every product through accredited, independent third-party laboratories. Since each product requires unique analytical methods and equipment, we collaborate with specialized laboratories and PhDs in analytical and organic chemistry to design our testing protocols.
Analytical techniques utilized include: NMR, FTIR, HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS, TLC, ICP-MS, Gravimetry, UV-Vis, Titration, Melting Point, and Organoleptics. We primarily test for purity, content, sterility, and endotoxins (LPS).
Certificates of Analysis (COA) are available upon request. If you need a specific test result, please contact us at support@ascendlabs.com.
Variations in color, texture, odor or even biochemical properties may occur due to polymorphy (differences in crystal structure). These variations do not compromise product quality.
- Optimal storage: Below –20 °C
- Short-term storage: Refrigeration at 4 °C for up to 2 years
- Room temperature tolerance: 4–6 weeks with minimal degradation if protected from direct sunlight (suitable for international shipping)
General guidelines: Store in a cool, dry place away from heat, moisture, and sunlight. Refrigeration or freezing is recommended for long-term stability.
Yes. Lyophilized peptides typically form a solid cake. However, during transit, the cake may break or appear uneven. This is an aesthetic issue only and does not impact quality, potency, or purity.
Some peptides and proteins may appear larger in the vial due to buffering requirements. This is normal.
Some liquid products may crystallize, precipitate, separate into layers, or lose homogeneity. To restore:
- Warm the vial in 50–70 °C water for 5–10 minutes
- Shake vigorously to re-suspend
- Low temperature exposure: Generally safe; may cause precipitation in solutions but does not accelerate degradation
- High temperature exposure: Prolonged exposure may accelerate degradation. However, a product requiring room temperature storage exposed to 115 °F for a few days will not show measurable degradation once properly stored again.
- Cold-storage products (–20 °C): Short-term exposure (<24h) to ambient temperatures does not significantly degrade the product unless oxygen, moisture, or sunlight are also present

Shipping & Delivery
Orders placed before 12:00 PM PST typically ship the same day (about 90% of the time). Orders placed after 12:00 PM PST will ship the following business day.
Our shipping hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or federal holidays.
Processing times: Typically 1–3 business days depending on payment method. Large or special orders may require an additional 1–3 business days.
Shipping times vary based on selected speed:
- Standard Shipping: 3–6 business days
- Express Shipping: 2–4 business days
- Free Shipping: 2–4 business days
Total delivery timeframes:
- Standard: 1 day processing + 3–6 days shipping = 4–7 business days
- Express: 1 day processing + 2–4 days shipping = 3–5 business days
- High Volume Periods: 2–3 days processing + 3–7 days shipping = 5–10 business days
All timeframes are estimates. Actual delivery times may vary due to weather, holidays, order volume, or courier delays beyond our control.
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this tracking number to track directly with the corresponding courier.
If your label has been printed and there has been no tracking update, it most likely means we're still processing your order. Please check the tracking again in 2–3 days. If there are still no updates after that time, contact us.
Once an order is placed, we have a very limited window to modify or cancel it due to our commitment to rapid shipping times. We cannot guarantee that cancellations or modifications will be possible; however, we will make our best attempts to accommodate if possible, with no guarantees.
Please double-check your shipping address carefully, as entering an incorrect address constitutes user error and is not the responsibility of Ascend Labs.
If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package:
- Check with neighboring suites, facilities, or building reception
- Contact the courier's local office for GPS delivery coordinates and recipient confirmation
- If the courier confirms correct delivery, allow 1 week for the package to appear before contacting us

- Lost Packages (Stuck in Transit): Ascend Labs is not responsible for packages lost by carriers. Contact the carrier directly to locate your package. For full coverage, purchase shipping insurance.
- Incorrect Address: Ascend Labs is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrectly entered addresses. If your order has not yet shipped, contact us immediately.
Shipping Insurance covers one complimentary reshipment for any incident with photo evidence provided. Resolution is at the discretion of Ascend Labs customer service.
Orders & Account
- Payment Pending: We are awaiting or verifying your payment. If your order remains in this status, please submit a photo of your payment confirmation to support@ascendlabs.com.
- Processing: Your payment has been confirmed, and your order is being prepared for shipment. Orders are typically dispatched within 24 hours, though processing times may vary.
- Completed: Your order has been dispatched. You will receive an email with your tracking number shortly.
- Cancelled: We could not verify your payment, resulting in order cancellation. If you have made a payment and see this status, please send a photo of your payment confirmation to support@ascendlabs.com, as our system may occasionally miss payments due to processing delays.
Order confirmation and shipping label emails may occasionally be missed. Please check all inboxes, including your spam/junk folder. If you still can't find it, contact us with your order details.
All sales are final. Due to the nature of research chemicals and biologics, returned products cannot be accepted for health, safety, and integrity reasons. Please review our full Terms of Service for complete details.
Payments
Due to frequently changing regulations in the research industry, we may not always accept credit or debit card payments. Availability of these payment methods may vary. We currently accept:
- Zelle: Accepted year-round with incentives. Seamlessly integrated into most banking applications. Payment verification typically takes 24–48 hours.
- Cryptocurrency: We accept various cryptocurrencies. Payment verification typically takes 30 minutes to 4 hours.
- Same-day bank transfers: Typically completed within 24 hours but may take up to 72 hours, excluding weekends. Payments made late on Friday may not clear until Monday.
Your order will not ship until funds are received and verified.
We occasionally run promotions and offer discount codes. Sign up for our newsletter or check our social media channels for the latest offers. Discounts may also be available at checkout depending on your payment method.
Compliance & Policy
Ascend Labs enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy for misuse or abuse of research materials. Any such activity will result in immediate blacklisting and permanent denial of services.
Our support is limited to inquiries about shipping, payments, and related matters. We do not assist with research-related tasks, as we are solely a supplier of research chemical materials.
Ascend Labs supplies products exclusively for laboratory research purposes. To ensure regulatory compliance, we actively screen all orders. Individuals or entities suspected of intending to misuse our products will be permanently placed on a no-sell blacklist with no exceptions.
